Air Fryers, Elvis, and Emerald Isle Vibes: Our March Highlights

Aged Care Woodford QLD is at its best when the days are full, the snacks are homemade, and the music is loud. March at Woodford Manor was exactly that. We’ve had a busy few weeks, and honestly, we’ve loved every minute of the chaos.

A Fresh New Look

You might have noticed we’re looking a little different lately! We’ve officially refreshed our brand and updated our website. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for our families to stay connected with us and find what they need. You’ll start seeing the new look on our signage and uniforms soon, but don't worry—under the new logo, we’re still the same team providing the same high-quality care.

The Luck of the Irish (and some very green cake)

St. Patrick’s Day really took over the middle of the month. We kicked things off with "Bingo with a twist" (the competitive spirit was high!) and a legendary green jelly cheesecake that had everyone asking for seconds. The celebrations didn’t stop there. We hosted a traditional Irish morning tea, and the Woodford Singers put on a fantastic concert. There is nothing quite like a room full of people singing along to Irish classics to get the energy up!

Culture, Harmony, and Frank’s Birthday

Harmony Day was a special one for us this year. We spent the day exploring different cultures and talking about how we can make our world a little more beautiful. The kitchen team went above and beyond, whipping up a special culturally-inspired birthday cake for Frank. Watching him enjoy that first slice was a highlight for the whole team. Pro-tip: We also discovered that air-fryer scones are a game-changer. They were the perfect addition to our Harmony Day spread.

Bocce, Blue Suede Shoes, and Busy Hands

The end of the month was a whirlwind of variety. We’ve been out on the lawn for bocce, channelling our inner rockstars at an Elvis concert, and staying productive with our ladies' folding circle.
