The Woodford Wrap | Spring 2025

Our gardens were absolutely glorious, bursting with colour as we planted and tended them together. Every day, we gathered fresh flowers for our dining tables—it became one of those lovely rituals that made this place feel like home.

We celebrated some beautiful milestones this spring, marking years of love and commitment with family and friends gathered around for food, drinks, and plenty of laughter. These special moments reminded us what community is truly built on.

New activities took off—our painting group created stunning artworks, and weekend concerts filled the place with music and smiles. There was something about live music and creative pursuits that brought us all together.

Our celebrations were memorable too. Father's Day festivities involved pool fun and barbecues, whilst our pirate invasion saw us all dressed up and defending Woodford Manor with impressive expertise. Halloween and Melbourne Cup Day brought more laughs, fancy dress competitions, and lucky door prizes.

We got out and about with trips to local cafés, enjoying beautiful views and good coffee. Entertainment kept us singing along, and our high teas were lovely occasions.

We were particularly proud of completing a year-long food quality programme, celebrating with a special longest lunch that had everyone genuinely excited. Meanwhile, our football tipping wrapped up after 27 rounds, and we tried new activities like fluorescent disco bowling.

As summer approached, Christmas preparations got well underway. What a wonderful spring it was!
